I love the vibrant colors of the costumes the Folklorico dancers wear. I was able to get close enough to take some action pictures. It was a perfect day for a parade. The dancers were from Ajo's Ballet Folklorico.

I was inspired to finish my fiesta clipart. It features the traditional items needed to celebrate your own fiesta party. A pinata, sombrero, maracas, bunting banner, confetti, margarita, hot pepper, guitar, decorative border and a cactus. Available in my shop.

New 8 x 10 print on lustre paper. Reminds me of a typography class I took at art school. My teacher was little and mean and would yell at us from across the classroom. We were supposed to learn good type through osmosis since she never explained anything or showed any examples. She was the worst teacher I ever had.

In honor of her I have created this exquisitely beautiful carnival circus inspired salad of different fonts, patterns and colors.

Skyla is a shy little creature and is mainly seen at night as a pink glow hovering in the forest. The little light on her head helps her find the tiny sky berries hidden under the leaves. She has no wings but floats through the sky puffed up from the helium the sky berries create.

Sometimes called Sassy. The Sassparilla is a distant cousin of the hummingbird. Named so because he loves to drink the bittersweet nectar from Sarsaparilla flowers. The professor of botany who named his species could not pronounce the "r" in Sarsaparilla so his assistants unwittingly wrote down the new species as the Sassparilla hummingbird.
